harmen karden can never go wrong with very very clean.. heres some other thoughts on receivers depending if he wants a 5.1 or 7.1..

I can send you some pics of DB speakers and others I have built.. But I can promise that he well be 100% happier with speakers that are built then mass produced.. I do everything from build the crossovers to fiberglass the inside of the boxes.. I also like to line-x (bedLiner) it has several purposes to it that I can talk to you in another email about. I can give you other references other then DB as well..
