Has anyone done "destructive tests" of the CPU-330 by doing something like running LN2 through it? What about the Swiftech MCP-655 pump?
The linseed oil, as with any other oil I've mentioned, is meant to be used in conjunction with Ethanol. I think it would be good to look at Wikipedia's page on azeotropes, found here:
Azeotrope - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia This truly is essential in understanding how refrigerants are mixed, and why they are. Basically, it is an extension of this principle. Any solution will have a lower melting point than it's solvents.
Ethanol is always my primary component. Everything else is mentioned as additives, to provide additional benefits not acquired from Ethanol alone. The most sought after now, is the increase in specific density, to allow for an even greater removal of heat. The viscosity of the solution can be adjusted by the concentration of the additives. The greatest concern for viscosity, is the ability of the pump to handle it. Beyond that, everything is open to examination.
