lol, ok then will do. now i haven't put the prices together yet on these things because i have yet to get the money for it (sign-in bonus for the air-force) but so far i've got:

asus mobo (may get the one suggested earlier depending on what the other prices are when i start looking but it will definitely have to handle a fair amount of overclocking on both the gpu and cpu)

2 gigs of corsair ddr2 ram (for starters. i know there's ddr3 but last time i checked they didn't make too much of a difference in performance yet)

intel core2 duo e6550

nvidia geforce 8400 graphics card (may have to change that one)

600W power supply

and as for the case, i guess i'll just get a standard black case and make my own designs.
