overclocking idea
if i'm not mistaken there's a certain overclocking record for percentage and not overall speed, right? if so then i have an idea that may slap down a new record. take an old intel 486 chip and try getting it to the speed of a high-end p2 or low-end p3 (roughly 266-333 mhz) i know the project wont yield a horrendous speed record but it will definitely win in terms of overclocking percentage (since 400% is a mere 200 mhz) so how about it? is it even possible? or is it destined to go the way of my recent twist tie p3 chip to p2 board project and just go up in flames? lol
