Well I'm here to report that I'm finally getting my new board. It should arrive sometime Wednesday. The board is the quad-socket (as in four cpus on one board ;-D) Tyan s4980. It was almost a nightmare trying to get this thing. But I finally found a company which, though they didn't have it in stock, immediately ordered it from Tyan. That was this past Friday.

The only thing I'm concerned about, is whether the cpu-330's will fit on the board. It's probably not an issue though, since the board appears to have the correct surrounding space alloted for cooling devices. I tried to post a picture of it, but it claimed the filesize was too large (jpeg@293Kb?). Anyway, anyone interested can easily find it on the Tyan website.
