Mappers!
I was just wonderin if anyone here makes maps. Or do you just play CS? I'm somewhat familiar with mapping, though I would never be able to create anything like dust2 or office.

Well, I made italy 3, and I believe butter made surf_leet beta alpha version 12.
I could make large basic rooms... he could make ramps.
It took us about 3 hours to get the skyboxes to work, lol

Meh. See, I can do architecture, but I just can't make stuff look too natural. I don't have the eye for details and all that, and most of my stuff is really boxy. My levels are all very efficient, because it means less work for me (lol!)
Hey if you have a good idea Valleyman maybe I could take a crack at it. So far I've done Serenity and it's slight modification Serenity2, plus a "beginner" map that had like two rooms, and a neat little map that was still too small. Oh, and I had a friend describe a particular map that a friend of his had made for 1.6, and I tried to copy the concept as best as possible. But that's it. I've taken a shot at a couple of maps but they didn't really get my juices flowing, or were a little too complex. If you have an idea that I could do, that would be neat  I'm not talking about another Dust or Office, but something like scoutzknivez--mainly geometry, with few details or complex things.

lol i made a few kick ass maps "SStroopers" "trebtoss" when Source SDK first came out but for the past few years i have not had the time to get back into mapping. if u guys want we can start up a group project and get some real shit done. we will probably have to re teach ourselves to get back into the grove of mapping but it would be awesome to share our skillz and knowledge to make like an official ]NG[ Map or something. if ur at all interested id be willing to put a few hours a week into working on this
so what u guys think?
