Mod Ideas to kick butt...

I really want to rule this mod thing. Usually I build more Plain outside and let the inside speak for itself. the problem is its a pain to have to keep opening to show the insides.

I remember hearing a idea about a Borg Scout Ship and started thinking what If i was to use 4 tubular reservoirs (1 in each corner) with a Alum box frame holding it together

Mabye using smoke plastic for the panels that were etched from the inside.



do you guys think a themed comp has a better chance?

I think that mod would rule, and could def be done with a cube like design, similar to Mountain Mods, or even a Mountain mods case, painted with the windows either etched or with a vinyl design on the window.

Hmm Im thinking that this Mod needs to be entirely original, Completely custom fabed and totally insane artwork, Some 6061 1/16 aluminum would be best for strength/weight and easy to work with. id love to see the mod done with rusted ship plating and Borg support beams, maybe even a few battle scars!

I could make 1 hell of a sick Phase cooler (AKA Warp Core) for that cube, maybe even a small cascade for CPU/GPU/Mem/NB/SB and built to match the mod

Have you guys talked to the guys over at BoxGods? They are to case mods what Next Gen is to overclocking . . .I can only imagine what would happen if the two worked on a project together.
