PC game lag
I have a Windows Vista home premium computer with an NIVIDA 8500GT graphics card with 256MB, an Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600 each core operates at 2.4 GHz, 2 x 4 MB L2 cache, 1066 MHz FSB. I have a 500 GB SATA II hard drive. Dual channel 2048 MB DDR2 memory, Memory Card Reader 15-in-1. I have a 32-bit operating system and 2030 MB of rams. My problem is, however, that I have constant game lag while playing all next gen gaming titles (offline). Games such as Bioshock, Jericho, Call of Duty 4, ect. I am not able to play these games on the highest graphic settings without lag, (sometimes not even fair graphic settings). I don't understand why.

Re: PC game lag
honestly, the botttleneck in this situation is mostly the RAM. don't forget that vista alone takes a gig and sometimes even more in other operations, my reccomendation is to get at least 2 more gigs of ram and maybe a slightly better graphics card

Re: PC game lag
I agree with frankbooth on this one, although you do have a valid point sabre1. What he needs to do first is upgrade his vid card to something that has at least 512 of gddr3 if not a gig and gddr4. Secondly, you need to OC that thing man! Thats where you get you performance gain : )

you have a bottleneck with your video graphics processor!
you need a better video card like and 8800GT or at least a 9600GT preferred a 9800GT if you have the money a GTX 260 core 216 is a very good card. on the side of ATI the Radeon 4770 is an unbelievable card in crossfire with a low price the ATI HD 4890 is your best bang for your buck on the side of ATI and will play any game out there!
