Here is a lil build log of the "Zip tie Prometeia 775 Kit"
P5N32 SLI SE DLX and Mobo tray
Old AMD heating element mounting Plate (too tall for the tray stand offs)
We cut out some Bread Board to be used as mounting plate for the heating element.
Attached some seal string (insulation)
The seal string holds the plate to the back of the motherboard.
placing the zip ties over the standard Prometeia mounting plate.
Pulling the zip ties through the LGA775 mounting holes.
The Final Product. Just add some neoprene foam and seal string around the socket and seal it up aginst the Prometeia head and you have a $1.50 Home made Prometeia LGA775 Mounting Kit!
I wouldn't suggest using this for a perminent solution. I'm currently working w/ a Machine shop to produce some quality mounting Kits!
