Re: Overclocking help

hi, i finally have all the parts needed for my system (except for the coolant which is on the way) and i wanted to ask a Q, will the pump&res handle another radiator same as the one i ordered (res, pump and rad) and if it will, how should i configure the loop? is 1strad->res&pump->cpu->nb->sb->2ndrad->vidcards->1strad good?

thanks guys

Re: Overclocking help

yes it will. heres how you are going to want this to go

Pump CPU>NB>RAD>VID>SB> RAD that would be messy and would be alot of tubing(possibly a pain to set up). but would work the best imo. NB and SB really dont add a detramental amount of heat to the loop.

Re: Overclocking help

Water cooling the v-regs greatly affects your pc's performance during higher overclocks. I would recommend it even if you only plan to overclock moderately or even just for benchmarking/speed runs.

Re: Overclocking help

vreg cooling will really only prolong the life of your mobo, but may help vdroop. EK i think makes a water block for the 680i from evga.
