they are releasing a bios update by the end of the year, and thats the most i could find out.

Travis and Brandon . . .please contact Foxxcon about my 680i/QX9650 issue and first ask if there is really a beyond bios-fixable issue . . .the secondly see if the 780i board will work with the proc and if it does ask then for one. Or if they will not get you one at least let me know if it will work and I will get one from Nvidia myself. Hellmouth is still the Flagship NG rig? If so, we need it working and OCing for HWBOT . . .

780I will work with the QX9650, I have played with the board and CPU. also it will support Tri SLI 8800 Ultras and future cards.

I will work on getting a few test boards for the LAB as well as one for your system.

and don't forget SkullTrail, If we can get one for your RIG it will PWN all.

Ill get brandon to make a Hellmouth thread that is locked so we can discuss future plans in secret

Travis or Brandon . . .please talk to the Asus folks to see if they are working on a bios or if there is a problem with the CPU that they cannot overcome with a bios and this board.

So far i have been told that Intel 45nm CPU's will not play nice with Nvidia chipsets, and that it may be due to Nvidia not selling an SLI license to Intel. so the only platform for new Intel Chips are Intel Chipsets. Not even 780I and 790I completely support it.

I have seen where a BETA BIOS update with EVGA boards has allowed the CPU to operate but with limited stability. Not sure whether the 680I can be updated with a BIOS to solve the problem completely.

At lease we should see a bios update that allows the CPU to operate but it might not be 100% reliable
