Since it looks like the next incarnation of Hellmouth will be Skulltrail-based . . .I wonder if I should just do waterchilling using the vap . . .chill both CPUS, all four GPUS, NB/SB/ and mofsets . . .I would need to make a really swanky method to attach the evap head to the block . . .hmmm.

I bit the bullet and ordered an EVGA 780i board for Hellmouth to use until I get a SkullTrail . . .just have to put that QX9650 to test . . .and get some HWBOT scores up . . .

I think everyone on the forums has been pretty settled on the xfx one being current king of 780,with evga in second. But to me both boards look the same so i dont know how they all got to that conclusion. Wish i could get my hands on an mars.

Why evga with all the problems they had with the 680 boards? Looking at those two boards they look the same nothing stands out.. so please explain

Hellmouth will get a Skulltrail . . .DayWalker 780i . . .and Order 66 will probably get the X48 . . .also known as Bonetrail 2

You have a single stage right?? well it be enough for the skulltrail, and the GPU? Or are you going to have more built.. So the plan for day walker to still be on H20?? And are you actually going to run 3 GPU? well you have enough Cooling for 3.. And also Is the 780i going to be able to run Quad or just Dual? From what I read there is no for shure answer yet?? John the truth is everything is up in the air as to what will work and what will not. Skulltrail built will not start for at least two weeks . . .hint hint

680I will run tri sli, and the 780i will run tri sli. no quad drivers out yet. multi gpu is really ati's side of the fence anyways.
