This was tried years ago by Dynaudio and it was a total disaster..

First off Glass is very very hard to damping if you still want to be able to see in. They tried to have glass balls blown... Sounds funny but I looked into it about 3 years ago.. The problems are thickness its very very hard to get the same size everytime. So that well not work.. I have even thought about a mold of some sort That can be done but the problem is MONEY.. I have thought about a lexan
and playing with that but..MONEY

So cost effective for me is to stay with what I know what works.. Now if you want something made out of lexan we know know people that can laser cut the it to the lenghts and stuff..

But then again there we are to damping material.. You still wont be able to see in.. But then you could put some cool led's that would refect though the lexan..to light it up..

But back to the waterfall I really really dont see them doing all that well..
