Quick Single Stage Phase Unit
I just started building a SS tonight out of pure boredom. Ill start taking pix and try my hand at a work log and "How To"

* Edit * 06/12/07 07:20AM - Compressor looks shot... Pulling LRA, *Searches for replacement compressor*


a few years ago I to had a window ac unit for my PC room, with a phase unit built into my rig i have no need for it, and have chosen to put it to better use!





































Found replacement compressor and swapped as well as a new base for the unit!

hey Travis what are the chances of us modding a cooler like that (maybe a tad smaller) to fit inside the comps case?

I saw thay one, I was thinking about making the unit even smaller and inside the same case as the comps hardware.

Think smaller (like my crossflow case)

Hmm, what case do you have in mind? ill see if i can track down some high performing parts that are as small as possible.

I would make one. When I build my comps I get my mobo and make the case around it.
We could get the parts and make a case around it.
I was thinking the pieces dont necessarily have to be arranged like everyone else does.
I have some Carbonfiber/Aramid just sitting around
